Fund Development Coordinator

Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Provides support to the Fund Development Director and other team members through donor services, donor database input, and planning, implementing, and evaluating annual fundraising programs and strategies to assist in securing annual financial support. Assist in coordinating the grant application and management process, help to identify potential new funding sources, coordinate meetings and correspondence with donors, and plan and execute fundraising events.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Process and maintain high levels of accuracy in donor database files.
Assist with grant applications, facilitate reporting, track grant-funded program budgets, and maintaining a grants calendar.
Plan and execute fundraising event.
Research grant opportunities for the purpose of developing additional funding resources.
Other responsibilities and duties assigned by Fund Development Director or CEO.

Other Information/Requirements: 

Bachelor’s degree
1-2 years of experience directly related to the purpose of this position (experience managing donor databases - preferably Donor Perfect).
Effectively communicate and interact with current and prospective donors, and volunteers
Energetic, trustworthy, and committed to the values of Girl Scouting.
Independent and innovative thinker and problem solver who thrives in a team environment, is willing to tackle new challenges, and is very detailed-oriented.
