Groundworks has provided networking opportunities for foundations for over 25 years. This includes quarterly meetings featuring various topics and speakers. We are developing capacity building and learning opportunities for foundations and funders. We are exploring ways that philanthropy and nonprofits can learn how to work better together.
The New Mexico Collaborative Zone Grant (“Zone Grant”) is a flexible, multi-layered, collaborative grantmaking platform that creates space for funders, nonprofit leaders, and other partners to co-design, test, and support innovative responses to New Mexico’s challenges that extend beyond the mission of any single organization.
Groundworks now serves the entire nonprofit sector with a strong desire to develop programs that bridge the gap between philanthropy and nonprofit organizations. With this in mind, we are re-imagining how we can strengthen our sector by grounding in community. We are also exploring how our sector can have a deeper understanding of racial equity and anti-racism. We are developing an engaging conference in 2022 with robust break-out sessions.
