Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Join the largest non profit agency serving people with intellectual, developmental and cognitive disabilities in the State of New Mexico since 1957! The Grants Administrator works independently under the direction of the ARCA Foundation Executive Director and Chief Development Officer to research, develop, submit and manage grant funding opportunities matching ARCA’s programs and services.  

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Monitor grant-related activities and progress to generate required reports and ensure deliverables are met. Provide guidance to ensure post-award compliance with laws, regulations, policies and/or funding agreements and oversee special audits and site visits conducted by grantor. Must communicate grant proposals or reports with Executive Director. Maintains key positive relationships with funding sources and performs technical writing.

Other Information/Requirements: 

Bachelor degree in communications, English or a relevant social services field or five years experience. Private foundation and governmental (State and Federal) level grant writing experience preferred. Working knowledge of grant writing/project management processes. Ability to present both the comprehensive and project specific needs of ARCA in a professional and understandable manner in writing, accurately reflecting agency values and goals. .
