Main Areas of Responsibility: 

The Sawmill Community Land Trust (CLT) Executive Director provides overall leadership, guidance, and vision necessary to advance the organization's mission of developing vibrant, prosperous neighborhoods through permanently affordable housing and sustainable opportunities for low-to-moderate income families.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

The Executive Director will be responsible for Sawmill CLT's operations, including financial management, Board management, fundraising, home sales, stewardship of leasehold and rental properties, managing staff, contractors, and vendors, public engagement efforts, community engagement, public education, and relationship building.

Other Information/Requirements: 

● Previous experience working in the nonprofit sector, preferably in affordable housing/real estate development/real estate sales
● Experience working with individuals/groups from diverse backgrounds
● Ability to manage finances and communicate financial status with board of directors
● Experience with fundraising and grant writing
