Are you or is someone you know a great fit for a growing organization serving our state's social sector? We have two openings for outstanding candidates interested in making a lasting difference for New Mexico.
For our newest leadership role, Grant Researcher / Writer / Facilitator, Groundworks seeks a dynamic team member with demonstrated success in grant research, grant writing, and grant reporting as well as experience in virtual and in-person training and facilitation for a professional audience. The position will support fund development and grant writing for Groundworks New Mexico and will lead multiple cohorts for NM nonprofit leaders aimed at building organizational capacity. This role will apply within Groundworks the methods and best practices it brings to cohorts in our state, simultaneously providing for Groundworks and training cohort members on grant research, grant writing, and grant reporting. Groundworks seeks candidates familiar with New Mexico’s unique social sector and culture. As a cohort facilitator, the role will apply Groundworks’ cohort blueprint model to manage, communicate with, and facilitate multiple simultaneous statewide cohorts focused on preparing for, applying for, and attaining grants of significance and other capacity building efforts. The role will have primary ownership of a large project supported by pooled funding from major foundations and philanthropy, thus we seek candidates with demonstrated commitment and interest in New Mexico’s social sector and its funders. Comfort and skill in public speaking, presenting, and managing potential conflicts in public-facing settings are key.
The Administrative Operations Support Coordinator will provide skilled administrative support for the daily operations of Groundworks New Mexico. Duties include but are not limited to: digital communications and outreach on behalf of the organization through creating and posting social media content, designing and scheduling e-newsletters and ongoing website updates; support for virtual and in-person events through marketing, registration, attendee comms, and event related logistics; support with external contracts and payments for project-specific services provided by consultants and other subject matter experts; administrative support to the executive director and board committees. Within an organization that provides backbone support to New Mexico’s social sector, the Administrative Operations Support Coordinator will provide backbone support to Groundworks itself. The role will fulfill ongoing essential tasks related to successful and efficient organizational operations as well as standalone duties as needed per specific events, projects, and initiatives within the organization. The role will have primary ownership of external communications, thus a demonstrated commitment and interest in New Mexico’s social sector is key.
