Director for the Center of Self-Sufficiency and Housing Assistance

Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Responsible for program management and development of comprehensive services to individuals including direct supervision of professional staff, grant writing and reporting, budgeting, contract compliance, community relations and program development. The Center for Self Sufficiency and Housing Assistance includes Rapid Re-Housing, Permanent Supportive Housing and Homelessness Prevention programs.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Experience with HUD programs is helpful but not required. We are looking for an exceptionally detail-oriented person with a proven track record of productivity, customer service, and problem solving. Applicants with experience creating spreadsheets to analyze data and financials for the management of complex grant requirements encouraged to apply. Bachelor's degree in management, social work, counseling, or another relevant field required. 3 years of supervisory experience preferred.

Other Information/Requirements: 

Minimum of 2 years’ direct experience in a non-profit agency including budget management, development and implementation required; minimum of 2 years’ managing grants with federal grant management preferred. Must have excellent communication and public speaking skills; strong command of the English language and excellent writing skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office and database experience; bilingual in English/Spanish preferred. Pay starts at $25.03 per hour ($52,062 annually), DOE.
