Development Coordinator

Job Description
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

oCoordinates grant activity including: writing grants, managing calendar, tracking of grant deliverables, and maintaining grant files.
oData management including data entry for major gift program activities and other projects.
oCoordinates donor recognition activities
oDesigns and runs reports on major gift program activities.
oResearches donors and new grant opportunities
oCoordinates board involvement in fundraising.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

o Ensures applicable licenses and accreditations are renewed (e.g., BBB, certificate of good standing)
o Supports the Board Development committee
o Records board meeting minutes
o Supports the CEO and Director of Development for presentations.
o Assists with special events and media events.
o Helps coordinate A Place at the Table.
o Presents, to outside groups, information about Roadrunner Food Bank.

Other Information/Requirements: 

o Bachelor's degree and three to four years of related experience; or a combination of education and experience
o Excellent writing and organizational skills.
o Three (3) years' experience in a high-level administrative function.
o Grant writing experience.
o Experience using a customer relationship management database.
o Demonstrated ability to manage donor or customer relationships.
o Demonstrated ability to effectively work as part of a team.
o Commitment to excellent customer service.
