Description of the Volunteer Opportunity: 

Volunteers are needed for Discovery Festival (a STEM-related interactive event for middle and high school students) to help with check-in and vendor relations. Shifts are available 9:00 - 11:30 am, 11:30 am - 3:00 pm or 9:00 am - 3:00 pm. For more information about the event, visit www.discoveryfestivalnm.com.

Discovery Festival is a STEM event with local and national organizations providing hands-on demonstrations to help inspire a child to discovery that they have what it takes to go to college and pursue a successful career in a STEM field.

Nonprofit Will Provide: 

BBBS-CNM will provide free parking and refreshments for volunteers. Meals and other incidentals are the responsibility of the volunteer.

Additional Requirements: 

Volunteers should wear comfortable shoes, be able to stand for the majority of the shift and be able to lift 15-20 lbs. Additional requirements are subject to change.
