Description of the Volunteer Opportunity: 

Big buddies accompany grieving kids side-by-side for the whole weekend. They are high energy people who have experience at an overnight camp - as campers! They tend to be extroverted (though not always, and don't have to be.)

Big Buddies are matched into a group of bereaved children. A perfect big buddy is there to listen, and have fun. Applications are on our website: childrensgrief.org

Campers experience amazing transformations, and caregivers learn ways to support their children. Volunteers say it is the best experience and most come to camp year after year.

Volunteer training at camp on Thurs. 10/12 (4pm) & Fri. 10/13 am. Meals and lodging provided the entire weekend.
