Mission Statement:

The mission of the Grief Center is to provide compassionate and safe support, understanding, healing, and hope to the grieving community.

Primary Programs:

Free grief support groups for all ages starting at 5 years old. Groups are age-appropriate for children, teens, and young adults. Adult support groups are for caregivers of the children attending the program as well as bereaved adults. Groups are held in person for both children and adults and virtually for adults only.
Groups are led by trained Bereavement Facilitators and are not professional counseling or therapy. To get started in a group, please call the Center to get more information and do a brief intake. Participants can attend for as long as they feel is needed.
The Grief Center focuses only on grief associated with the death of an important person.

Other Programs:

Camp Corazon is a summer service for bereaved kids from outside of Central New Mexico.
Workshops and Training for bereaved families or professionals working with traumatized populations are offered year-round.
Free Grief Resource Library is available to the public Monday - Friday during business hours.
