Description of the Volunteer Opportunity: 

Serve on the Resource Development Committee to develop and implement fund raising activities, including contacting potential funders. Committee meetings are 1 hour/month. Volunteer efforts for fund raising activities will depend on the activity.

Who Will Be Impacted Through This Project: 

Over 70 school-based health centers and providers that offer physical/behavioral health services in schools supported by advocacy/technical assistance provided by the NM Alliance for School-Based Health Care (NMASBHC). Funds may be distributed directly to SBHCs for specific projects/programs to meet their needs or will be used for NMASBHC operations.

Nonprofit Will Provide: 

Leadership of committee, access to internal documents and contact lists, historical information about past activities, open minds to new ideas. Volunteers may participate in person in Albuquerque or via Zoom or conference call if unable to attend committee meetings in person.
