Description of the Volunteer Opportunity:
The Children’s Grief Center of New Mexico Board of Directors
Role: Members of the Board of Directors shall contribute their time, talent and treasure to advance the mission of the Children’s Grief Center of New Mexico and provide leadership in the solicitation of support from the community at large.
TERM: Three years
COMMITMENT:
Participate in regularly scheduled meetings.
Participate in special meetings of the Board of Directors (1 annual planning meeting.)
Participate actively on one or more working committees of the Board.
Make a meaningful personal financial contribution with a “give or get” minimum provided.
Purchase or sell tickets and fill at least one table of 10 at the annual Healing Hearts Luncheon & Silent Auction.

The mission of the Children’s Grief Center (CGC) of New Mexico (NM) is to provide a safe and supportive environment where children, teens, young adults (ages 5-25) and their caregivers can share feelings and experiences while grieving the death of a loved one.
