Description of the Volunteer Opportunity: 

Saturday, October 22 is Make a Difference Day, and NewLife Homes needs your help to make a difference in the lives of our residents. Our oldest property, Kentucky Manor, needs some sprucing up. We are going to rehab some existing flower beds and plant some bulb flowers for spring.

Volunteers are needed to till flower beds, plant bulbs, and do some light litter pick-up. Snacks and refreshments will be provided. Work will be outdoors, so please dress accordingly and bring any work gloves and gardening tools (trowels, shovels) that you may have.

Who Will Be Impacted Through This Project: 

This project will benefit the residents of Kentucky Manor, an affordable housing community managed by NewLife Homes. Kentucky Manor's residents are comprised of vulnerable individuals including the elderly, mentally and/or physically disabled, and the very low-income.
