Description of the Volunteer Opportunity: 

Big Brothers Big Sisters has a new mentoring program, mentor2.0, focusing on freshmen at South Valley Academy and Amy Biehl High School.
With mentor2.0 you mentor via email! In-person time commitment is less. The mentee student's weekly email and your response to it is part of a structured curriculum covering soft life skills.
Every 4-6 weeks, you're invited to meet with your mentee at a two-hour, structured group event held at the school.

mentor2.0 is designed to increase high school graduation rates by 20%. When each student has their own mentor, the chances of dropping out are greatly reduced.
