Description of the Volunteer Opportunity: 

Ethos Literacy provides free literacy and ESL tutoring to adults. We are recruiting new board members. Board members are responsible for making sure the organization remains true to its mission and has sufficient funding to fulfill its mission. Time commitment: 12 months. Board meetings are held monthly on the 3rd Saturday from 9:00 am to 11:30 am. You will also work on projects.
Our Expectations
You will learn about the work we do and why it is important.
You will share networks and open doors.
You will be a good advocate, building relationships with the community.
You will actively participate in board meetings and projects.
You will help with our fundraising events.
You will make a personal contribution. You decide how much to give.
