Description of the Volunteer Opportunity: 

We are looking for someone to join the Board of Directors and contribute their excitement for the Celtic Community. The position is for Treasurer who will keep the books and maintain compliance with state and federal regulations/reporting.

Who Will Be Impacted Through This Project: 

The purpose of the organization is the cultural and educational preservation of Celtic culture and providing a venue for musicians, dancers, athletes, pipers, oral historians, etc. to hone their skills compete and share traditional cultural experience. The festival had historically hosted over 6,500 attendees making it the third largest event on the Balloon Fiesta grounds.

Nonprofit Will Provide: 

Admittance to the festival and a chance to help guide the direction of the largest event bringing the Celtic community together in New Mexico.

Additional Requirements: 

Knowledge of QuickBooks and the reporting systems of NM and a small nonprofit will help.
