Description of the Volunteer Opportunity: 

PeopleWorks-NM, a nonprofit organization, has a unique and rewarding opportunity for an experienced Grant Writer to work in a virtual project capacity.

Working directly with the Executive Director via phone, email and perhaps in person meetings (if you’re local), you’ll help source foundations and other grant-making organizations and develop written grant proposals to secure critical funding for the Dementia Caregiver Support Program.

This is a great opportunity to give back by utilizing your skills in a volunteer capacity to help an organization that is having a positive impact on people in need.

This funding is needed to help support dementia caregivers. PW-NM has developed a unique approach to supporting dementia caregivers and was the recent recipient of the Innovations in Caregiving award from the National Alliance for Caregivers.
