Description of the Volunteer Opportunity: 

Provides logistical support for chapter workshops including location, refreshments, technology, registration, introductions, mentoring and evaluation forms, and online submission of attendance information. Work may be done primarily from home. Must attend all workshops (12-15 per year). Periodic planning meetings may be required. Requires an average of 2-3 hours/week from Jan.-Nov. All workshops currently take place on a Tues., Wed. or Thurs. from 9am-12pm or 11am-1pm. Occasional evening workshops may occur in the future. Most events are held in Albuquerque and several in Rio Rancho.

Nonprofit Will Provide: 

Training for this position will be provided. The Workshop Chair will be available for questions and assistance. This position will help develop your business and networking skills to make you more marketable for a career in event planning, marketing or business. You can expect to expand your business network as you meet local experts in finance, accounting, insurance, entrepreneurship and other fields related to small business.

Additional Requirements: 

Age 21 or older. Must be super organized, absolutely dependable, self-directed, a quick learner, and smile a lot. You will be the face of the organization at the workshop. Dress code is business casual when attending workshops. In addition, you are responsible for getting yourself to and from workshops and meetings. Send a cover letter and resume to [email protected].
