Description of the Volunteer Opportunity: 

Heading Home offers a full slate of volunteer options ranging from one-on-one resident interaction to work days cleaning our larger facilities to assembling gift baskets for our neighbors.
Heading Home operates in several locations throughout the Albuquerque metro, including downtown, near the Big-I, and near Double Eagle Airport on the far west side.
We're always looking for new volunteers to assist one of New Mexico's most vulnerable populations as people rebuild their lives.

Who Will Be Impacted Through This Project: 

Heading Home has housed more than 740 of Albuquerque's most chronically homeless and medically vulnerable residents since the inception of Albuquerque Heading Home in 2011. Our clients also receive services through our year-round, emergency overnight shelter and the city's Winter Shelter. These individuals and their families receive assistance ranging from life skills classes to peer support.
