Description of the Volunteer Opportunity: 

Description: We are looking for several volunteers to help us sort, stock, and maintain the organization of our daily donations.

Virtual or in person: In person

Time commitment: Any days and any hours Monday-Friday 9am-5pm

Tasks include: Taking in donations, sorting donations, stocking donations, organizing and cleaning the donation storage spaces, helping us conduct supply drives, and going on donation pick ups with staff.

Candidate qualities: Very organized (we love A type people for this work!), ability to work independently and with groups, a willingness to “get your hands dirty”, ability to stand on your feet for long periods of time as well as lift and stock donations.

Who Will Be Impacted Through This Project: 

Crossroads for Women assists over 42 women (and their children) who are struggling with homelessness, substance addiction, and mental illness. We provide case management, vocational assistance, family and parenting services, therapeutic, social, and creative groups, individual counseling, and housing assistance.
