Dates Volunteer is Needed:
Description of the Volunteer Opportunity:
Crossroads for Women special events encourage healing through healthy relationships and building networks of peer support. Special events like the Family BBQ are opportunities for this type of therapeutic socializing. We've held the BBQ for over 10 years now, and each year women gather with each other, their children, extended family members and the larger community of staff and volunteers for a really special afternoon. We invite you to join us this year! We still need resource support with food (hamburgers, salads, desserts, chips, etc...) and volunteer support with set up and tear down. The CRFW annual Family BBQ is held at Phil Chacon park on Saturday, June 20th from 11-1:30PM. Set up at 10AM and teardown at 1:30PM. Please contact Jess Fulton at 505-242-1010 for more information and to get involved.
Who Will Be Impacted Through This Project:
Crossroads for Women provides comprehensive, integrated services that support successful reentry, sustainable recovery, and secure futures for New Mexico women working to break the cycle of homelessness and incarceration for themselves and their children.
