Description of the Volunteer Opportunity:

Many Mothers’ Mission is to “to provide in-home services and wraparound care to achieve health equity and wellbeing for babies and their caregivers in Northern New Mexico.”

In support of our commitment to provide optimum, wrap-around support for our families with infants, we have laid the groundwork to open a parenting center this fall that will provide enhanced access to perinatal services. This center hopes to offer the following sliding scale resources: childbirth educational classes, doula services, community navigation services, a food and diaper pantry for emergency support, our traditional in-home support by our trained volunteers, perinatal counseling, breast pump rentals, and a host of classes on such topics as nutrition, newborn care, parenting and more.

If you are interested in supporting this exciting endeavor by joining our Board of Directors or Advisory Council, please be in touch.
