Description

The purpose of strategic HR metrics and analytics are to help senior management manage the business.  This requires that they become able to measure and communicate the contribution and value added of the organization’s human capital; that they are able to identify business opportunities; and that they are able to measure and manage employment related risks.  Unfortunately in many organization, HR metrics currently only measure and report only transactional data.

Thus, while HR metrics and analytics can make a vital contribution to the company’s bottom line, they often only address the cost issues on the income statement.  In order to achieve this vital goal, HR professionals increasingly need to speak the language of the business — how human capital affects the bottom line.

This webinar discusses the use of HR metrics as a core competency for HR management, reviews the role HR metrics play in helping an organization make critical business decisions, describes how to calculate the exposure liability of employment-related practices, and provides a description of some of the strategic HR metrics now used.
