Santa Fe Canyon Preservation Association
The Corporation is organized to receive and administer funds for charitable and educational purposes.
Such purposes include, but are not limited to:
a. Preserving and improving the natural and historic environment of the Santa Fe Canyon, its river and surrounding areas.
b. Restoring and improving the Santa Fe Canyon public land, parks and other public recreational areas.
c. Protecting and enhancing habitat for the benefit of native flora and fauna in Santa Fe Canyon.
d. Preserving and restoring structures of historical and archaeological significance within the Santa Fe Canyon.
e. Assisting and cooperating with the City and County of Santa Fe and other governmental authorities and private associations in carrying out the foregoing purposes.
f. Soliciting and receiving funds for projects within Santa Fe Canyon carrying out the foregoing purposes of the corporation. Old Power Plant Park restoration and creation of park area, landscaping, restoration of historic building and history display.
