Mission Statement:

The Chijnaya Foundation works in partnership with rural communities in Southern Peru to design and implement self-sustaining projects in health, education, and economic development.

Primary Programs:

The Rotating Fund Program supports community-led projects aimed at improving the family economy by providing micro loans to improve their small businesses.

The Group Savings Program facilitates the creation of savings groups and community banks in interested communities to create a space where community members can save their money and take out low interest rate loans.

The Scholarship Program provides scholarships to students from rural communities to attend universities and technical institutes.

The Dental Program trains primary and secondary school students and their families on oral hygiene and also provides preventative and curative treatments.
