Over the past two years, state legislators have proposed bills to tax nonprofits. Even with state revenues higher than expected for the coming fiscal year, tax reform is likely to be on the agenda for the 2019 session.
NM Thrives, the state nonprofit association, is collecting information to share with state legislators so they can make informed decisions. This is your opportunity to contribute to the discussion about the financial and operational effects of legislation on New Mexico nonprofits.
