Get Inspired This Holiday Season.
Debbie is the Founder and Executive Director of TenderLove Community Center. Its mission is to help homeless, near homeless and low-income women, including survivors of domestic violence and previously incarcerated women, achieve stable, self-supporting lives for themselves and their families.
In 2015, TenderLove established a small business, called Sew4Real, that will employ their graduates and help them learn how to run a small business, how to seek out and write contracts, keep inventory, pay taxes, and do payroll.
Debbie will share with us her amazing journey of coming to the United States and her work at TenderLove Community Center. We are thrilled that she’s part of the NAWBO New Mexico family as she reminds us of the “can do” attitude that we all need when things get tough.
