The City of Albuquerque, Department of Family and Community Services will be putting its CDBG Public Facility Improvement monies out for RFP as part of its 2012 HUD Action Plan development process. For these monies the City is focusing on funding agencies that have capacity "of completing a Public Facility Improvement Project which will a) increase access to services for persons experiencing homelessness or persons “at-risk” for experiencing homelessness, and/or b) improve the quality of services currently being provided to persons experiencing homelessness or persons “at-risk” for experiencing homelessness."
The RFP posting is scheduled to be in the newspaper July 15-17. The mandatory pre-proposal meeting is July 21. For more information you may contact Thea Guerin at 768-2758.
