Bring The AmeriCorps Program To Your Community

AmeriCorps members bolster communities.

Since 1999, the New Mexico Commission for Community Volunteerism (NMCCV) has supported hundreds of community-based organizations that are engaging local citizens to address their most pressing needs.

NMCCV administers New Mexico AmeriCorps programs and invites applicants that are interested in receiving an operational grant to bring AmeriCorps Members to your organization, or a planning grant to design an AmeriCorps program, to apply this Spring; official Request for Proposal (RFP) will be released at a later date.

National service supports organizational goals.

All across New Mexico, volunteers and national service participants help meet compelling community needs every day. Does your organization address one or more the following priority areas: Disaster, Economic Opportunity, Education, Environment, Veterans and Military Families? Are you interested in one of our special initiatives: My Brother’s Keeper, Multi-Focus Intermediaries, or Governor and Mayor Initiatives? Join other organizations who have discovered the power of national service and develop a program that will involve friends and neighbors old and new in Getting Things Done for your community!

Bring AmeriCorps to your organization.

NMCCV will host a series of informational webinar sessions covering a variety of introductory information related to managing an AmeriCorps program. A copy of each session’s presentation will be available at the conclusion of each session. Time will be allotted at the end of each session for participant questions. Attendance on the calls is encouraged but not required to submit an application.
