Weekend Case Manager

Job Description
Type of Job: 
Full-Time
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

This position is responsible for carrying a caseload of current and possibly aftercare clients, who are homeless, previously incarcerated and have a co-occurring mental health diagnosis with a drug/alcohol dependency.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Has an understanding of the principles of trauma treatment and trauma informed care, harm reduction, and strengths based substance abuse and mental health recovery. Must have strong attention to detail, and be well organized. Must demonstrate a commitment to treating others with respect. Ensure case management services comply with service goals and objectives, organization mission and philosophy and the parameters of Federal, State and local funding and agency guidelines.

Other Information/Requirements: 

• Bachelor’s Degree in social work or a combination of relevant education, training, and experience totaling 4 years
• Master’s Degree in human services strongly preferred
• Must possess a valid New Mexico driver’s license, a clean driving record, and proof of insurance
• Able and willing to travel locally as needed
