Location: 600 Piasano NE 87123
Pay Range: $32,000 - $38,000 (dependent on experience), plus employer-paid benefits
FTE Status: Full-time exempt (40 hours per week)

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

The Vocational Specialist is responsible for ensuring the overall effectiveness of vocational services at Maya’s Place. The Vocational Specialist plans and oversees the Vocational Program development and administration as part of ensuring the integrity and success of the Vocational Program and services.

Other Information/Requirements: 

Essential skills and experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or related field
- Experience in the provision of vocational training, assessment, counseling and coaching

Must possess a valid New Mexico driver’s license, a clean driving record and proof of insurance; able and willing to travel locally as needed
- This position is subject to Criminal Background Check (post-offer)
- Must possess ability to follow through with guidelines set forth in the Prison Rape Elimination Act (PREA).
