Job Description
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Crossroads for Women seeks a VISTA Member with strong communication skills who takes initiative, works efficiently and demonstrates flexibility. This position develops and nurtures relationships within the community, with donors and volunteers.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

The CRFW VISTA member is responsible for:
• Planning, organizing and soliciting support for client-oriented and other special events.
• Managing CRFW’s volunteer program.
• Participating in the scheduling, pick up, inventory and acknowledgement of all in-kind donations.

Other Information/Requirements: 

VISTAs serve full-time and make a year-long commitment beginning in April, 2016.
VISTA positions are open to all US citizens, nationals, and lawful permanent resident immigrants age 18 or older. Members receive a living allowance of $973 per month and support with childcare if needed. Other benefits include student loan forbearance or deference and a $5800 Segal AmeriCorps Education Award or $1400 post-service stipend.
