Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Supporting the work of the Lead Teacher (Guide) and the students in the classroom, enabling all to do their work is the attitude needed for all of this positions.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

We are looking for people who:
-Have experience working with children
-Are willing to learn about Escuela del Sol Montessori, its educational philosophy and mission
-Have excellent written, verbal and organizational skills
-A strong work ethic and pays attention to detail
-Preference will be given to bi-lingual (Spanish & English) applicants
-Bachelor’s degree is required

Other Information/Requirements: 

Elementary Teaching Assistant: 35 – 40 hours per week / Monday – Friday normal business hours PLUS occasional evenings, weekends, as required for full program participation and training. Compensation: commensurate with experience. Salary package and benefits (health, dental, retirement) are available.

Substitutes and Extended Care Teachers: Part-time, as needed. Hourly rate commensurate with experience.
