Teaching Assistant

Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Assist the Lead teacher in the classroom and on the playground. Assist in creating and maintaining a safe environment, tend to the daily needs of children, follow lesson plans, record observations. We are looking for a person with a centered, healthy and positive attitude who understands they work in concert with parents and colleagues, as well as students.

Other Information/Requirements: 

Be willing to enroll or be enrolled in an associate degree program in early childhood education within 6 months of hire and must complete 24 hours of PD annually; bilingual in English/Spanish a plus.
