Supportive Services Director

Job Description
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Development, implementation and compliance reporting of programs and services for underserved vulnerable persons, including the elderly, homeless and special needs populations. Responsible for coordinating and implementing; case management, community outreach, financial literacy/computer training, vocational/employment training, onsite recreational/social activities, and other programs that assist residents to maintain their independence.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Supportive Services Director will be responsible for writing grants and fundraising that increase the capacity of the agency to deliver support services to residents. In addition, the director will be expected to contribute and/or spearhead marketing, public relations and website updates for the agency.

The organization has limited staff and infrastructure and the position suits a self starter with problem solving and collaboration skills. Strong analysis, presentation, budget, computer and people skills required. Knowledge of state, local and federal resources and a proven track record in grant writing is an asset as well.
