Our mission is to provide free nutritious, medically tailored meals to our homebound neighbors living with life-challenging conditions. As a key member of our team, the Sous Chef will coordinate preparation of nutritious meals for our clients, oversee kitchen volunteers, and ensure smooth daily operations in collaboration with the Director of Food Services/Chef.

Physical Requirements
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Comfortable working in a kitchen environment with exposure to heat, cold, and
cooking equipment.

The Ideal Candidate
The Ideal Candidate is a mission-driven culinary leader w/ 3-5 years in kitchen management, blending strong technical skills with the ability to lead volunteers to fulfill Kitchen Angel’s mission. Previous experience in a food-focused non-profit is preferred, as is experience with high volume production for dietary tracks.
Minimum Qual.
2 years in kitchen management or culinary field, or a degree/cert. in culinary arts, or an equivalent combination of the two totaling two years.
