Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Responsible for conducting assessments/evaluations to determined appropriateness for individuals referred to the AOT (Assisted Outpatient Treatment) program. Required to complete an affidavit if an individual meets criteria and testify during an initial hearing on the conducted evaluation with the individual. Psychiatric medication management services to a number of clients receiving services at the agency.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Must be comfortable testifying in a closed court hearing. Job can be 24 hours/week or more up to full-time as needed. Complete Treatment Plans, work with staff to ensure client stability. Complete reports as needed.

Other Information/Requirements: 

• 24-40 hours per week
• Must have license to prescribe psychotropic and other medications in NM
• Can be one of the following: Prescribing Psychologist, Certified Nurse Practitioner, Clinical Nurse Specialist, or Physician Assistant
