Main Areas of Responsibility:
Responsibilities include but are not limited to managing, training, and supervising staff of 11 artist teachers in visual, literary and performing arts in an accessible and adaptive program designed to serve adults with developmental disabilities. Oversee Developmental Disability Waiver compliance including reporting and programmatic implementation relevant to state standards and regulations with a keen awareness to detail.
Additional Areas of Responsibility:
Planning of semester curriculum and schedule with input from teachers and participating artists. Development and execution of weekly staffing schedule maintaining required ratios and classroom coverage. Occasionally filling in for teachers who are out at meetings or on vacation by teaching classes, attending meetings, and providing support to each individual’s Interdisciplinary Team.
