Program Coordinator

Job Description
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Coordinate Family Services on your assigned group nights. In conjunction with Senior PC, recruit/manage/lead/support/appreciate Volunteers. Act as program information contact person/maintain files & records related to assigned group nights. Assist in fundraising efforts as needed. Provide presentations to community as requested.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

This person works directly with bereaved families and the volunteers who serve them. 30 hours per week, late afternoons and evenings. Several Saturdays. Qualifications: Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree, Master’s in Counseling or comparable experience relevant to grief work and/or support groups preferred. Year for year exchange in relevant experience acceptable.

Other Information/Requirements: 

Spanish language skills (conversation and writing) preferred. Two years+ experience in grief and loss field. Able to be flexible in schedule. Comfortable with public presentations. Good verbal and written communications skills; proficient with internet, Excel and Word.
