Program Coordinator

Job Description
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

The National Institute of Flamenco is seeking an energetic, problem solver to fill the position of Program Coordinator for Festival Flamenco Internacional. The Coordinator will work closely with upper-level administration to ensure smooth execution of programming. This is a seasonal (20 weeks), 40 hour/week position with the potential for full time, permanent employment.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Duties include, but are not limited to:
• Artist travel and transportation
• Artist immigration
• Artist contract negotiation
• Artist housing

Work closely with marketing department to:
• Cultivate relationships amongst national and international constituents
• Focus on recruiting and retaining student/teacher festival participants
• Special projects

Other Information/Requirements: 

Requirements:
Must demonstrate fluent, native Spanish speaking abilities
Knowledge of business practices, the arts and/or arts administration is preferred
Bachelor’s degree in related field
Knowledge of flamenco is a plus
