Job Description
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Under supervision, performs a variety of office support activities and life skills activities with
children. Office support include relaying and resolving routine telephone and/or walk-in inquiries,
scheduling calendar items and meetings, performing data entry, establishing and maintaining
records, and assisting with offsite errands. Childcare and Life Skills activities include providing
supervised-structured activities to children while Enlace clients are with other staff member.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Acts as the primary backup person for the EC phone lines. Screen phone calls and
schedule appointments with EC staff and provide appropriate referrals to clients.
Assistant frequently has the agency’s first contact with clients and occasionally provides
crisis intervention. Assist Screening Specialist to schedule client appointments in employee calendars in

Other Information/Requirements: 

High School Diploma or GED. Minimum of two-years work experience required, bilingual in
Spanish and English, basic computer skills, current and valid driver’s license and vehicle are all
required. Prior childcare experience preferred.
