Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Pet Resource Liaisons partner directly with the public and counsel on resources to keep pets and community animals in their homes, help animals return home quickly, support owners through end of life services, and assist with the intake of animals with no other options.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Pet Resource Liaisons responsible for handling animals for intake, completing paperwork and data entry, answering phones, helping customers/visitors with requests for service, and providing all kinds of support to achieve the best outcome for the pets and people we serve.

Other Information/Requirements: 

HS Diploma, GED or Proficiency Certificate + 2 years’ experience in veterinary, animal-related, child welfare/protection/hospice/mental health settings or Bachelor’s degree in social sciences, human services or related field.
• Direct communication, de-escalation, prioritizing and organizational skills.
• Proficient in Google and Microsoft applications and suites.
• · Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
