Music Teacher/Service Coordinator

Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Responsibilities include providing arts education to adults with developmental disabilities in the field of music. Participating in the development of ISPs and coordination of developmental disability services and supports. Experience working with developmentally disabled is highly desirable. Salary is $31,200 annually, plus Health and Dental Insurance.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Example classes include Drumming, Jazz Band, and Folk Music. The position requires a Bachelor's degree preferably in Music or related field. It is highly desirable if candidate holds previous teaching experience.

Other Information/Requirements: 

Development and execution of weekly curriculum in the field of Music, Performance and Theory. Attending meetings, and providing support to each individual’s Interdisciplinary Team. Ideal candidate will show proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, ability to stay calm under pressure, and show a genuine demonstration of patience, compassion and kindness.
