Middle School Spanish Teacher

Part-Time
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Teach three to four sections of middle school Spanish, serve as a faculty advisor to approximately 10-12 students, and participate in faculty meetings and ongoing professional development.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Collaborate within the Spanish Department, grade level faculty, and other faculty groups in disciplinary and cross-disciplinary inquiry projects. Bring passion and skill to contribute positively as an advisor, both to develop curriculum and to develop strong relationships with students and families. Fulfill other duties as assigned by the Head of the Middle School.

Other Information/Requirements: 

Bachelor’s degree required, experience teaching in a middle school Spanish classroom or related experience, demonstrated cultural competence with regard to both curriculum and pedagogy, native or near-native fluency in Spanish.
