Main Areas of Responsibility: 

• Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central NM is looking for a 2- FT Mentor 2.0 Support Specialist (Education Liaison)

• Bilingual (Spanish/English) required for one position

• Breakdown of position: approx 30% classroom instruction (curriculum-based); 10% administrative/event planning; and 60% monitoring & relationship development between teens and adult mentors.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Experience working with teens/families/adults; interviewing and assessing; and relationship development experience required.
Classroom experience (especially with high school-aged students), and the understanding of child development and family dynamics is preferred.

Other Information/Requirements: 

• BA required (unofficial transcripts will be required); must pass federal background check
• EOE/ADA
