Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Applicant will be working closely with South Valley Academy. Experience working with teens, families and adults; interviewing and assessing and relationship building. Classroom experience (especially with high school-aged students,) and the understanding of child development and family dynamics is preferred.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Breakdown of the position: approx. 30% is curriculum-based classroom instruction, 10% administrative and event planning and 60% monitoring and relationship building between teens and adult mentors.

Other Information/Requirements: 

BA required. Degree in social services, sociology, psychology, or related field is preferred.
Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred.
Must pass a federal background check, have a valid NM DL and insurance coverage.
Salary $15.38/hr (+0.48/hr if Bilingual [Spanish/English].)
