Main Areas of Responsibility: 

The Marketing and Communications Director is responsible for the planning, development, and execution of all organizational marketing, public relations, and communications efforts. This role shapes institutional storytelling, manages brand identity, and develops high-quality communications that reflect NIF’s mission, artistic excellence, and community commitments while advancing objectives related to revenue, audience development, stakeholder relations, and institutional visibility.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Strategic marketing and branding leadership; market and audience research and applications of analysis from that research to department strategy; revenue generation and audience development; supervision of the Marketing Department (currently two direct reports); oversight of marketing contractors and vendors; public relations and earned media strategy.

Other Information/Requirements: 

•Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Arts Administration, or a related field.
•Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in marketing or communications, preferably in performing arts, culture, or nonprofit environments.
•Demonstrated success in revenue-oriented marketing strategies and audience development.
•Advanced proficiency in digital marketing, CRM systems, analytics tools, and emerging platforms.
•Bilingual Spanish/English preferred.
