Main Areas of Responsibility:
The Housing Program Manager is responsible for the housing coordination of individuals who qualify, via the HMIS/Coordinated Entry System (CES), as well as those identified through other sources. This position will assist qualified individuals to access available vouchers, subsidized or affordable housing programs, public housing programs, or to become self-housed.
Additional Areas of Responsibility:
• Meet with individuals and families experiencing homelessness to determine housing and service needs
• Assist with completing necessary forms and applications and securing housing of their choice
• Create and maintain consistent communication channels, both verbal and written, between several parties (i.e. tenant, landlord, referral source, collaborating agencies, and the Housing Authorities).
• Serve as liaison between property managers and clients, as needed
