Job Description
Type of Job: 
Full-Time
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

To assist Hope Village tenants in obtaining birth certificates, social security cards, IDs, SNAP Benefits, and other services and resources needed; Provide advocacy/support; help build a collective sense of community for tenants; Meet with tenants to assist in obtaining necessary documentation or resources; Build rapport and trusted relationships with tenants.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Become part of a team that will develop and implement relevant supports that will focus on life skills, fostering independence, and enhancing the quality of life for tenants of Hope Village; Attend and participate in weekly staff meetings and any other required meetings; Participate in all behavioral health trainings; Other duties as assigned; duties may be changed based on agency needs.

Other Information/Requirements: 

Undergraduate degree in human services field or equivalent experience; Ability to establish a community-enhancing rapport with Hope Village tenants, volunteers, other service agencies, and staff; Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office products); Reliable, flexible, organized; CPR certification required or willing to obtain; Bilingual preferred; SOAR Certification preferred.
