Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central NM is looking for a FT Mentor 2.0 Support Specialist (Education Liaison). Applicant will be working closely with South Valley Academy.
Experience working with teens/families/adults; interviewing, assessing and relationship development experience required.
Classroom experience (especially with high school-aged students), and the understanding of child development and family dynamics is preferred.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Breakdown of position: approx 30% classroom instruction (curriculum-based); 10% administrative/event planning; and 60% monitoring and relationship development between teens and adult mentors.

BA required (unofficial transcripts will be required); bilingual (Spanish/English) is preferred; must pass federal background check.
